This is the only show on tv (maybe Supranos, but who pays for HBO when they already have 150 channels?) that will kill anybody on the show. Even Keifer has talked about how Jack should be killed off. Main characters have bitten the dust, gone crazy, been shot by Jack, who knows? Its the only show that you actually say “No way, did that just happen?”

The worst part of most dramas is that its so predictable. Of course the flag bearer is the A-team. Only in television can 4 guys bust into a enemy camp with machine guns blazing, hand grenades exploding, and fools to be pittied and nobody dies. In fact, they aren’t even hurt, but conveniently tied up in the end.

On 24, when someone walks into a room, you say, “oh yeah, he’s dead.” And he might be! It’s not that I like to see people die, but it would have added alot of excitement to MacGyver if once in awhile he doesn’t quite make it out in time. The next few shows he’s in a cast or on crutches, that’s gold Jerry! gold!

Another great thing about 24, the shows has closure after every season! At the end, the bomb is dissolved, the bad guy is dead, the spies are caught, and all is right with the world. Ok, they usually have a plot builder on Jack’s future, but at least the main story ends. Of course the ultimate offender on this was X-files. Although props to Scully (hot), the show asked 5 questions for every one it answered, which is also why Lost was below 24.

So Congrats to you 24, you are the best show on TV!
