The Buckeyes…

Gotta be happy, right?  35 wins?  Are you kidding me?  If it were against any other team, I’d be happy.  Did you see the cocky clapping, the dancing to the camera, the smug looks.  Florida has a list of NBA stars, you can tell by the thug behavior they’ve already learned.

Now, I hate the evil blue devil empire.  I root against Duke bball on every occassion.  But at least their players are respectful.  At least their players are classy.  As a good buckeye fan, I am rearranging my rooting interest.  A year ago, if you asked me Florida vs Duke in roundball?  Clearly I root against Duke.  A year ago, you ask me, Florida vs Notre Dame in pigskin? Clearly I root against the fatman and his Irish.

But I declare a new common enemy in sports.  Florida.  And I am not limiting this to Football or Basketball.  Oh no! I hate their women’s bball.  I hate their baseball team!  I’ll even wish injuries upon their debate team.

Was Florida a better team Monday.  Yes.  Do they deserve the championship? Of course.  In a best of seven, how many does OSU win? 2 or 3.  I concede that.  But, where’s Bobby Knight when you need him to kick these kids in the pants and teach them sportsmanship.  That’s all I want.

P.S.  Goodbye Oden, thanks for the memories… but leave Conley here, we need him.

Hey - this was the best Buckeye season in 45 years. What’s to complain about? The title would’ve been great, but what a run. At least we didn’t have the best season in school history (in terms of wins) with nothing to show for it like Wisconsin.

Oden is gone, but Conley should be back and the Buckeyes should have a season almost as good, if not even better (all the way!) next year.

Amen 100%. When the tourney started I was hoping for a rematch against Florida, although I thought they were the best team and most likely would beat OSU. But after seeing them dance around and talk trash about how great they are after their first round victory, I decided I despise them.

Did you hear how they speak after the game? Isn’t Florida supposed to be a good academic school, even for athletes? I don’t think they’ve ever learned one bit of proper grammer. I despise them because they are cocky and I despise them because they are idiots.

My updated axis of evil: Michigan, Florida and Wisconsin. Sorry, Notre Dame and fat tub of goo, you drop to #4.
