Loooooosers…. (including Curt vs Spread)

What? Its Wednesday already and no CFB update?  I know, I’m what you would call “busy.”  Regardless, here is my take on the weekend:

West Virginia loses to South Florida:  Awesome! Great game, WVA was over-rated as is the entire Big East.

Oklahoma and Texas lose!  Ha ha.  Good stuff.  They play this weekend and the loser is out of the BCS race.

And of course, Florida loses! It feels good.  I wish Florida played Auburn three times a year.

Notre Dame. The only time they played well was when the starting quarterback, Claussen, was hurt.  Either way, the Big 10 was 4-0 against Notre Dame this year.  Oh yeah.

Add to that Rutgers, Clemson, & Oregon losses and it was a fantastic weekend.

So let’s look at the remaining undefeated teams: Purdue, Missouri, Az state, & Hawaii are losers.  Kentucky has yet to play the SEC juggernauts. Boston College has a chance, but is behind OSU right now.  South Florida also could go undefeated, but I doubt will jump OSU. Wisconsin plays OSU.  USC & Cal play each other so one must lose.

Therefore, if LSU loses, and Ohio State wins out…. National Championship game.  LSU has yet to play Florida, @ Kentucky, Auburn, & @Alabama.  Good chance they will lose one of those.

Of Course Ohio State has yet to find out if they are any good.  But on Upset Saturday, OSU cruises to a 23 point victory, just missing the 24 points I predicted dropping me to 1-2 on the season.  Ouch.

Pictures of losers:

Get a defense! Can you say collapse? This Auburn team lost to South Florida?

There was no donuts in the locker room! I requested donuts!!At least losing to Ohio State last year was respectable

A National Championship team, they are not. But top 20 this year, absolutely.

True they are ranked, “good” is still unknown. UC’s strength of schedule is #112 out of 119 teams. http://www.tellshowbcs.com/

At this point, do we believe UC is better than 5th in the Big East? (South Florida, WVU, Louisville, Rutgers)

We’ll find out more this week when they play Rutgers. To be clear, I’m not anti-Bearcat, I’m just not sold yet.
