Curt delivers! Florida and USC do not.
And it begins. The annual collapse of Mich St and Purdue. 5-0 and ranked was a joke for this Purdue team. The “#1 offense” scored an empty netter with a minute left, otherwise total domination by this OSU defense.
I was so sure of the Buckeye domination I doubled down my bet, and with the 23-7 easily covering, I take pleasure in my new record vs the spread of (3-2).
But wait, how could we talk about this past weekend without mentioning Florida and USC! Florida almost beat LSU, just like John almost came to Oktoberfest this weekend. Either way, Florida (like John) is a big loser. Although I was rooting for LSU to lose, I’ll gladly take the elimination of Florida from the National Champ hunt. ha ha.
You’d think that’s the biggest story, but the USC collapse is added to the outrageous college football season. Stanford was a 40 point underdog! 40 points!! Wow. Now, a Cal loss or an LSU loss will put OSU in control of its own destiny.
