I almost forgot the Big Ten has hijacked the Kent State game removing it from hundreds of thousands of TVs.  I don’t pick games that are unceremoniously removed from my view.  So Curt will stay (3-2).  Back to the game…. 

Since I am a chipmunk - swollen and unable to drink beer - from my Oral Surgery, I can’t go to the bar to watch it.  Thus, I guess I’ll miss the game.

Jerks!!  For those who don’t know, here in Cbus, the BigTen Network is asking $1.10/month for every subscriber.  This makes it as expensive as ESPN.  Hello?  Sure, we want to see OSU fball games, but there’s few of those.  Most of the time, the BTN will be showing Northwestern play Minnesota in women’s lacrosse! This is why I reiterate Jerks!! 

(Whiney John voice): Why can’t they make it pay as you go for those who want it?

For once, John is not an idiot!!!  But BTN realizes noone really wants to buy it so they insist it be on basic cable!  Who will win? Well, all the other providers in town have picked up BTN to try to steal customers from Time Warner.  But, I don’t know if the BTN can make it w/o Time Warner, at least in the long run.  The last two times Time Warner balked (ONN, NFL Network), Time Warner won.

I hope they do again!  Go Time Warner!

Remember those games you had on local tv... we've got them now.. ha ha ha ha ha

I get BTN… it sucks. Think Beasley Reese announcing everygame, and commentating, and analyzing. Down with BTN.

I think it should be offered at basic level cable. Besides, I didn’t ask to have WE, Oxygen, Lifetime, 6 channels of home shopping……yada yada yada the list of shit channels goes on. I would like to pick the channels I like and pay whatever for each channel instead of having crap forced at me. I would probably have 10-20 channels that I really want, instead of a bunch of stuff I could care less about and not have the opportunity to have what I do want to see. But I agree, BTN sucks for doing this.
